Yesterday
during school I got my story back from Mr.Syme, I didn't really care what I got
as long as I was would be able to pass English. Before he gave my story back he
said it was one of my best work that he have seen all year. He told me that it
could be no less than five papers but he seemed really surprised when I
asked if I could write more. I was thinking about Johnny a lot lately and how
he told me make sure Dally got to see a sunset. It’s too late now though. I
don't think Dally would've looked at a sunset with me anyway, I'm reading a new
book called "
To Kill a Mockingbird". The Socs still
bother us, but not as much as they used to since I cracked that pop bottle and
showed them I was sick of them bothering us, Soda still bugging about
Sandy, he just really bummed out that she dumped him like that. I still kinda
feel selfish because I wasn't caring about his problems but he always listened
to mine. We all are going through a lot right now. As long as we have each
other it really doesn't matter. If the judge would've put me and Soda in a boy’s
home I don't know what I would've done.
